Fall Sketch Challenge

Your challenge is to create a fall card using sketch SC246 from Splitcoast Stampers.

The Rules:

1. Use the sketch SC246 (linked above)

2. Make your card a fall theme

3. Use the color purple

4. Use atleast 1 embelishment

5. Post it to your blog no later than October 19th and no sooner than October 16th

6. If you post it in your gallery on SCS give it the keyword of SC246

8. Between October 20-22 we will post a survey to vote on your favorite card. I'll have a special gift for the winner. ;-)

I know this is a story your all becoming familiar with. ;-) A night about a week or so ago I was dying to do some card making. Of course all my supplies are still in boxes and tubs from moving so I grabbed some b-day card kits I got from a swap on SCS and headed to my mom's. It was perfect. All I had to do was take my own markers (Bic Mark Its and Copics), use my mom's cropping tools and I was all set. The kits contained everything I needed to make some fun, cute, quick cards. Thanks SCS friends!!

Ildi Clownkin

Halloweenies Pumpkin Koko

I was so excited when Ildi decided to introduce their fall line of images. I was going to offer a sneak peak a few days ago but could not resist revealing the entire image so I held off till the release time rolled around.

Frog B-day

I participated in a birthday card kit swap on SCS a few months ago. This cute frog card was in the boy kids catagory. I thought this image was cute and I love the paper and embelishments the individual put in the kit.

Lil Chick

I love SU! new In Colors. On this card I also used ribbon that I purchased on my day out to the Ribbon Outlet along with my Copics, stickles, CM corner punch, and SU! scallop punch. ;-) Thank you http://www.simplyinger.blogspot.com/ for this cute image.

Clownkin B-day

A few weeks ago Ildi Co Digital Images hosted a blog hop to introduced their new line of images, Clownkin. These images are so fun to work with. I am always in need of childrens b-day cards so I decided to craft up Clownkin Curls. I think this guy is so fun and screams cuteness!!

Ribbon Outlet Shopping Spree

On Friday my much anticipated trip to the Ribbon Outlet store in Berwick, PA finally happened. It's an 1 1/2 from my home so I was nervous to see if it would be wasted trip. I'm SO EXCITED to say that it was not. I have tried to calculate several times how many yards of ribbon I actually came home with and am still not able to get an accurate estimation. I would say around 250-300 yards. I only spent $23!!! That breaks down to only about $.09 per yard.

On top of the spools of ribbon I also got the scrapbooking ribbon packs that you'll see in the top photo. I also got decorative gift bags for only $.25 each. They are the super cute ones that are usually $2-4 each.

I can not wait for our next trip. My mom is talking about wanting to make a trip in the next week or two. ;-)

Ildi Clownkin Friday

Here is my Clownkin post for our Ildi Co design team post. I can not mention enough how much I love these images. Hop over to the store to snag a few up yourself. Great images at a great price. The link to the store is on my left side bar.

I never use colored pencils because I prefer a more bold defined colored image. However since we are still in the works of moving I had to raid my mom's craft supplies to make this card. So I decided to give a try at her colored pencils and actually love the soft look it gave this card.

Ildi Co Digital Images introduced a new line of Clownkin images this past Friday during their blog hop. Unfortunatly I am still in the middle of moving and all my crafting supplies are still in boxes and tubs so I was not able to participate. However I was going through withdraw so I rumaged through my mom's supplies and put together a quick card to show one of the images off.
