SSHP15 - Bildmalarna Intro

I'm excited to announce my new adventure and privilege. I will be designing for Paper Jewels home for Bildmalarna images. I'm honored that Jenny chose me to be on her design team for the launch of her new site. These little cuties are just my style and I adore them. There will also be a challenge blog launching in February (you will find the badge linking to the blog on my sidebar.)

So here is my intro card. This card is also for SCS sketch SC265 and Saturday Spotlight, Let the Sunshine In. These were both really great challenge to coordinate with this precious image.

So head on over, grab you up a few Bildmalarna images and particpate in the SCS and Saturday Spotlight challenges.

Friends

A wonderful SCS friend sent me a card like this but instead of the yellow she used red. Along with the card she included the stamped images for me to create one of my own. I LOVED it!!! I used SU! Crystal Effects on the flower to give it that little bit of a pop. I embossed the black paper with my Cuttlebug.

First Sugar Nellie

My Crafty Critter girls know I have been dying to get some of my new Sugar Nellies onto cards. So tonight I decided to whip one together before heading into my busy weekend.
The first one I used is cute little Blossom. My color job is horrible because I had my 4 year old assisting. I used my Bic Mark Its and my Copics.
I also used this card to participate in Tuesday Morning Sketches. This is for sketch #30. I was not sure how this would come together but it ended up turning out. Melissa has some really great sketches on her blog.
This is my wonderful assistant that was helping me color with my Bic Mark Its. I think he colored in two of his own images. That is the great thing about Bic Mark Its, they are inexpensive and I don't have to cringe when my little ones want to help mommy craft.

You Make Me Smile

Is this image not just overly adorable. I received the elements of this card in a card kit swap I joined hosted by friend April Lower. Another friend, Colleen, put the kit together.

This is a double challenge card using SCS sketch SC264 and Crazy 4 Challenges sketch C4C21. The C4C21 challenge was just to use the color pink. The SCS challenge was a sketch challenge.

Crafty Critters Challenge #17

SCS and Crafty Critter friend Moira gave us an awesome page sketch challenge for our 17th challenge. We were to:
1. Use sketch SBSC97
2. Use only from your stash - no buying allowed!!
3. Use at least two different patterned papers.

Since this paper was so fun and busy I did not use any embelishments. I thought it was just as fun without. Thanks Moira for an amazing challenge.

On Saturday I went to a crop and am proud to announce that I got 16 pages done. A lot of them were made with pre-made pages I received in swaps. My pages turned out lovely thanks to the help of my wonderful SCS sisters.
I hate my pictures did not turn out better but you get the idea of the fun quality I had to work with.

In love with toile!!!!

I wish these pictures would have turned out better. I received this beautiful 12x12 page kit from a secret sister on SCS. This kit SCREAMED my style. I love, super dooper love, toile pattern. What my SS does not know is that my boys bedding in their cradle was green toile so this kit really touched my heart. I opened it on Friday evening and scrapped with it on Saturday. I can not wait to out who my SS is so I can send her a HUGE CYBER HUG!!!
Along with the paper that I fell in love with, she included wonderful embellishments (button brads, baby ribbon, buttons, and toile sticker sheet.)

This card is for our Crafty Critters Challenge #16, Love is in the Air. Thank you Tracey for offering such a fun challenge. Our challenge was: create a card for your Valentine using Pink, Red, White, and Black (as an accent only) color combo. There are no vendor requirements.

I also used The Corrosive Challenge #47. This is a really great challenge blog with some great talent. The challenge for this week is to create a card using a digital image. How fun!!

C4C19 - Happy Birthday

Sticking with one of my New Years resolutions I used a card kit I had in stock to participate in an online challenge today. This challenge comes to you from Crazy 4 Challenges.
This is the first time for me participating in one of their challenges. This month is the blog owners b-day so in honor of her special day the challenge was to create a b-day card. I decided to use a man themed card since this is what I always seem to be lacking in my stash.
Make sure you hop over to Crazy 4 Challenges to play along.

Scrap and Metal

Ildi Co Digi Images is hosting their 7th challenge over at the Ildi Challenge blog. This challenge is to create a card or project using ONLY scraps (no cuts.) You can use new card stock for your card base but everything else has to be scraps. The metal part you can use brads, eyelets, charms, or any hardware. Such a fun challenge!!! I used an Ildi image as my image for my card. The sentiment is from SU! This image was already printed out and also waiting to be used out of my stash. What a fun way to use up my SCRAP and METAL!!!

******Hop over to Ildi's challenge blog to participate in this fun challenge.******

Crafty Critters Challenge #15

Challenge #15 and our first one of 2010. Wow it's so fun and so amazing that I have been with this gals for as long as we have. I'm in a blog group called Crafty Critters. These girls are not only my crafting partners but they are my FRIENDS. If you get a chance, check out their blogs linked on my right side bar.

Terria hosted our #15 challenge. We were to:
1.Make a card using buttons.
2. It MUST be a little girl theme, meaning use all girl papers, buttons and colors

I used a Stamping Bella image and I hope this is "girl" themed enough. My dp is from Creative Memories and my card stock is from Stampin Up. I think the buttons are Memory Makers. I'm not sure who makes the sentiment but I love it. I colored my image with Bic Mark It markers and Copics.

All My Love

I have really had a great time this weekend playing along in different challenges. I found this Annabelle's challenge through Jerusha's Blog. Annabelle has some really cute images that I now have on my "wish" list.

Annabelle's challenge (ABSC008) this week is a sketch challenge. You can use whatever stamps and bling you have, add your touch of bling either side of the smaller square, and wherever else you would like to - there's no such thing as too much bling! Entries close Thursday night 7th January.

I added bling below my image and then also accent her wings with Stickles. This image is from Whiff of Joy that my Crafty Critter girl Jenny sent to me.

On a Pedestal

A sweet friend of mine sent me this stamp set from SU! for my b-day (On a Pedestal.) I LOVE it!!
I must admit, I'm bad at creating outside of MY box. I tend to make cards that feature stamps that have to be colored in. I have a hard time making myself use the different colored inks that I own. I guess its mainly because I find these great card ideas and then find I don't have the colors of ink to create the card. So I'm going to work on this in 2010 with my monthly budget, buying more colors of ink pads AND using them. All in all I like how these turned out with my limited ink supply.

New Beginings

My sweet friend Tracey made her debut today with Teddy Stampers DT team. Today they were also kicking off their challenges for 2010 so I thought I would play along. The "rules" were to create a project that represented "New Beginnings." For example; new baby, new job, new home, etc. I thought I would create a card to celebrate getting a NEW PET!! This image is from Ildi Digi Images. They have the most adorable line of bear images. This little bear's name is Cuddles. You can hop over to their online store to purchase and download this cute little guy.
Don't forget to go to Teddy Stampers to play along in this fun challenge. You have until next Thursday, don't miss out on the fun.

Clownkin and Cuddles

I can not say enough about this adorable Ildi Co Digi image, Cuddles and Clownkin. Ildi's store link can be found on my left sidebar. Hop over and grab up this fun, cute image. I'm not sure if I'm going to use it as a b-day or frienship card but I'll be using it soon.

Enjoy and have a Happy New Years Day!!
